My formative years of active musical participation brought me to engage directly with the musical world in a more personal and hands-on approach. The core of my final project will take place as a four-piece series of short self-composed musical pieces with associated seasons and respective colours, presenting my own interpretation of personal color-synthesia. The working title is “Hearing is Seeing and Feeling”.

         First and foremost, the execution of this chosen project came from the need for a personal and important piece of work for my final integrating activity project. My primary target, however, is to further explore my own understanding and passion for producing music with a midi keyboard and music software. After trials on my own over the past three years, I count on creating space in my free time to be better acquainted with the platform and work on my self-composed tracks for self-leisure and motivation. 

        The four colors at the very center of my poster design will be implemented. Yellow will be linked to summer, red to autumn, blue to winter, and green to spring. The aspect of corresponding a particular colour to a season and adding the element of music is the overall sense of connection that I aim to partake in this project. The seasons connect and come full circle every year, and music accompanies me through every stage of my life. The tracks will vary from thirty seconds to around two minutes of run time each. Every category, composed of a colour, season, and track, will be joined with a written description. The explanation to my outlook and view on the music and emotions regards the relation of colour, period of the year, and the music. 

      The project will be presented on my website under the category “final project”. It will feature the colour and season in question, a written description, and an audio link from soundcloud where my track will be posted in clear divided sections.
