My very first instinct of creation was to find an original way of incorporating “Leap’’ on the poster. I immediately thought of treating the word as an acronym, in order to portray the metaphorical aspect in an even broader form. I used various combinations of words, and after multiple trial and errors, I settled with “Let Eagerness Approach Potential’’. The expression is up to interpretation, but the general meaning and message behind it is to embrace one’s inner drive and will to move forward, as well as seeking for ambition to bring us more positive opportunities and growth in life. In short, it is to take as many leaps as possible towards our hopes and dreams. I also desired to include colour, because my final project will be in correlation with colour synthesia. Instead of labelling the entire page as a ''colourful poster'', I chose the focus to be on the specifically chosen vivid colours in the center.

 

       The primary colours and the green are my main four colours, which are highlighting a word each, and will be a part of my future project. To suit my minimalist approach, I used two fonts that were both modern and clean-cut, but not too generic. To make it stand out, I used a special effect to bring some dimensions to the “L.E.A.P. forward with us’’ short slogan to enhance the interactivity of it. The musical elements surrounding the human figure jumping and dancing are the only aspects of the poster that are self-drawn and not typed in. Since music will be involved in my final project, it made total sense to have music in the center. The individual's presence and action represent feeling inspired and stimulated, being passionate and immersed in what they love, whilst looking forward to further thrive and flourish.
