- GREEN SPRING -

Seasonal Poem Intro

nature is finally reviving back,

leaves are finally coming out,

grass is finally switching to green,

growth is omnipresent.

the succulent in my living room,

delighted to feel the sun again.

the brain in my body,

stimulated for freshness again.

Music Section and Personal Description

The song Plantasia, like the entire album, contains the theme of growth and renewal that is found through building different dynamics with softer and louder sounds. Mort Garson's project, heard as "warm earth music", was recorded especially for plants and those who love them, which translates directly to an image of green in my mind. The whistle-like synth sound with the relaxing melodies in the back, as well as the fuller moments, give a regenerating feel.

Feel by Hiroshi Yoshimura is an all-around peaceful and balanced song. This ambiant track offers stress-relieving properties by its sustained synths, sparkly-like sounds and more animated synths notes. It feels like the crisp colder weather is merging with the arrival of the warm sun. The green leaf on the cover enhances the feel of the song representing the background music of a walk in the forest for me. It invites imagination, as well as nurturing oneself deeper.

Dorothy Ashby's Valley of the Dolls (Theme) holds a springy attitude right off the bat. The constant rhythm of the percussions in the background offers a steady and constant state, whilst the harmonious harp at the front and center of the piece gives hopeful energy. The harp blends smoothly with the other instruments, providing a refreshing sound like the arrival of warmer times and the grass becoming a more vibrant green.

Pentagon's Heal, like suggests its name, is an overall healing song. The loop of the melodies all throughout the track mixes effortlessly on top of another, thus providing a deep emerald grounding energy. It also provides a calming airy atmosphere by having soft notes with reverb. The back and forth of the more dotted and sustained notes give a free space full of tranquility, as well as offering to delve into an introspective mindset.
